Our highly structured day care program allows for socializing with friends, enriching activities, mental stimulation and quiet time- a healthy balance is necessary for a content and happy dog!

Enrichment Daycare is not a training program and is not the right environment for shy, fearful or reactive dogs.

Why Enrichment Daycare?

Over-stimulation and over-excitement are common themes for dogs who regularly attend doggy daycare and unfortunately, that continues when the dog goes home. At Furst Steps, our goal is to tire both the body AND the mind, while allowing time for breaks, confidence-building activities, recall games and more, so you have a content and happy dog at pick-up time!

◼ Enrolling all breeds ages 6 months and up

◼ You must have had your dog in your home for a minimum of 14 days before enrolling them in Enrichment Daycare

◼ A Temperament Assessment must be completed in order to be admitted in Enrichment Daycare. Please call to schedule at 484-245-1736.

DAILY ADD ONS

◼ Nail Trim & Grind- $15

◼ Bath, Blow Dry, Brush Out, Nail Trim & Grind (no haircut)- $45

◼ Furozen Kong (PB, Pumpkin or Wet Food)- $5

◼ Furozen Lick Mat (PB, Pumpkin or Wet Food)- $5

◼ Specialty Furozen Kong (Special Kong of the Month)- $8

Vaccine & Health Requirements

◼ Required to have 3 sets of DHLPP/DA2PPvaccinations (specifically Distemper, Parvo and Adenovirus)- must keep up todate with vet recommended vaccine schedule

◼ Rabies vaccination done by your veterinarian

◼ Recent fecal test results indicating “negative” for parasites from your veterinarian

◼ Bordetella vaccine and Parainfluenza vaccine are recommended

◼ On monthly parasite and heartworm prevention per vet recommendations

A daily health check before being admitted for the day to ensure all dogs stay safe and healthy.
*PLEASE KEEP ANY DOGS EXHIBITING ABNORMAL SYMPTOMS HOME UNTIL SYMPTOMS HAVE BEEN CLEARED BY YOUR VET.*

◼ During the health check, dogs are examined closely for hot spots, rashes, fleas, and other signs that may indicate a health concern like red eyes, a runny nose, inflamed gums, coughing, concerning lethargy, etc. Any dog exhibiting a potential health concern will not be allowed to attend school until the problem is resolved per your veterinarian. This is in the best interest of the sick dog, as well as any other dogs enrolled at Furst Steps.

◼ Should we notice something after your dog has been dropped off, your dog will be isolated and crated and parents will be immediately called to pick up the dog (we will also call your Emergency Contact should we not be able to reach you)

All vaccine and health requirements must be met prior to being accepted into any Furst Steps program.
